Ruth Verhey, PhD, Clin. Psych., is a licensed psychotherapist with a special interest in the effects of trauma on people’s wellbeing and perception of themselves.

In 20 years of private practice, she has helped hundreds of clients using varying therapy approaches to improve their quality of life and reduce their distress.

Living and working in different cultural setting across the world has sensitized her to specific needs of diverse communities. She is offering psychotherapy in 4 languages, face to face or online.

She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Therapy EMDR (Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), Systemic Family Therapy, Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), Hypnotherapy, and Sex Therapy.

She focuses on helping people with stress-related disorders, mood, and anxiety disorders, eating disorders, substance use, and sexual disorders. 
She offers family therapy and relationship therapy for couples who need support.
